RAF Charterhall is a former Royal Air Force airfield, beside the B6460 near the village of Greenlaw in Berwickshire, Scotland. The airfield was used by No. 54 Operational Training Unit RAF. A memorial to Hillary was unveiled at Charterhall by the Duke of Kent on 6 November 2001.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 publisher=Gavinton Fogo & Polwarth Community Council )〕 The memorial also remembers all the aircrew from Charterhall who died in the Second World War.
